Mike Cesario —GM
of Borelli Motor Sports when asked recently about the thrill
of owning and driving the ex-Alan Kulwicki Hooters/Thunderbird
NASCAR stock car said with tongue firmly in cheek, “it’s
a tough job but somebody has to do it.” Cesario
also owns an ex-Dave Marcis NASCAR “Chrome
Bumper Classic” Oldsmobile and has a history racing
sports and stock cars which goes back to 1972 when he began
racing the #40 Mac’s Datsun 240Z at back east road
courses like Lime Rock Park and Watkins Glen.
With gasoline in his veins Mike brings
his passion for racing, technical knowhow, contacts and
30+ years of marketing expertise to Borelli Motor Sports
as he helps establish Borelli as the performance arm
of Club Auto Sport. Key to this progress is the Borelli
Motor Sports Driver Development Program where anyone,
young or mature, can learn to drive a real race car safely
and quickly at a real race track like Mazda Raceway Laguna
Seca, Infineon Raceway or Thunderhill Raceway Park.
The father of two boys and the husband
of Ellie, Mike regularly competes in the Historic Stock
Car Racing Series and now lives in Los Gatos with his
wife Ellie.
